1 month:
- Loves fast patting & bouncing.
- Enjoys night walks. The sun is too bright and hurts her eyes.
- Started fighting sleep
- Brings hands to mouth
- Reaches for objects, but does not grab yet.
- Will watch me when I walk into her sight.
- Recognizes voices & faces. Basically Grandma’s & mine.
- Follows sound & movement from across the room. Will look for who is talking.
- Loves light, the bright bathroom or the lamp.
- Started sleeping in crib. Still prefers my bed though.
- Holds my hand while nursing.
- Started to lift head for short periods of time.
Grandma Leitha started giving you Eskimo Kisses.
You always have been a smaller baby. Still in a good range just on the lower end. You are short & petite, not chubby or skinny. You also have a big head.
April 26 - Started showing interest in the musical giraffe
May 8 - Grandma Leitha finished making you newborn sized bibs, since the others were too big.
May 12 - Met your Great Grandpa Baker & his wife, Nina.
First time Uncle Richard held you.
May 13 - First video of you laughing.
May 19 - Bought a rock n’ play, which you loved. You started sleeping in it since you were having
trouble sleeping in your crib.

5 weeks old you began to really smile.
7 weeks old:
- Started trying to laugh, although you had a tendency to get choked.
- Enjoys laying with head hanging back where its upside down.
- Began using your playmat.
- Found out you like TV, but you like it when the room is darker and you have a big TV. It makes the lights brighter.
- You also like Grandma Leitha’s app on her phone with the balls bouncing around the screen and noise when you shake it. It will distract you for some time.
